Come join us for our weekly Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. We implement a pedagogical style of teaching with everyone being invited to give their insight on God's Word.
Our Care Groups provide opportunities for sharing needs, developing relationships, and enjoying great fellowship and food. Groups meet monthly or bi-monthly in the homes of group leaders and/or hosts at locations throughout Champaign. For more information about Curtis Road’s Care Group Ministry contact Pastor Chris or call 217-359-8285.
Our children’s ministry offers fantastic ministries for your young children. They learn to praise and worship God in music. Through the teaching of the Word, through puppet ministry, and other creative ideas, each and every week we provide many exciting opportunities for your child to learn and grow with the help of wonderful Christian leaders who are excited to share the love of Jesus with each boy and girl. Our Children's Church meets every Sunday morning around 11:15 a.m., immediately after the Praise and Worship service in the sanctuary.
Our Autumn Ministies, also known as Covenant Keepers, is geared toward those aged 50+ who realize that we are not finished ministering until we have gone home to be with the Lord. We meet the second Saturday of the month. In between meetings, we minister in nursing homes, visit the sick, and go anywhere else we may be needed.
We offer a variety of fellowship gatherings for the men of our church. We gather once a month for a wonderful men’s breakfast to enjoy good fellowship and food. At our breakfasts, we have guest speakers that come and share their hearts. Once a year the men also have a fun time getting together for a golf outing. Come join our men's group and see what our church has for you.
We have Sunday School classes for all ages on Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday services offer fully staffed nursery care as well as toddler and preschool classes.
Women’s Ministries endeavors to create an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship. Through various activities, women can develop their unique ministry and minister in their community. We realize that there are no large or small ministries in God’s eyes. We are required to do what He has called us to do. With this is mind, we participate in many activities that do service for our Lord. Although some of these activities include public speaking, teaching, and even preaching, we also participate in many “helps” ministries. These include service projects that may involve sewing and crafting, making and serving dinners for church functions and bereavement dinners, and, of course, making our regionally-famous peanut brittle once a year. In the midst of these activities, women are encouraged to be committed to teaching the younger women, as outlined in Titus 2:4, so we can continue to serve God in the coming generations.
Welcome to our Youth ministries. Our leaders teach our maturing young people today to reach in to God’s Word, reach out in worship, and be able to touch other people’s lives through the ministry of helps. We are also very supportive of each other when one of us is going through some problem. Our youth are very much into relationship-building. We love hanging out together and doing such things as playing Guitar Hero and other video games after the weekly service. We also usually go out to eat somewhere at least once a week.
These are just a few of the Outreach Ministries that our church supports.
